In contrast to feedback management, in which you actively launch surveys, ideas management concentrates on actively including your employees and, in some cases external partners such as suppliers, in your company. Not least for this reason, large parts of it are similar to feedback management. The term "ideas" is used here as a synonym for improvements, complaints, and so on.

Current challenges...

  • Simple and central way of incorporating ideas
  • Rapid feedback to people who have submitted ideas, leads to higher acceptance among employees, suppliers and so on
  • Evaluation of the relevance and benefit of the submitted ideas and their context
  • Structured procedure (defined work processes etc.) for the complete process; from categorization of the idea and the context, evaluation (of relevance), resulting benefit and the associated bonuses, for example
  • Clarification of responsibilities
  • Fast availability of survey results
  • Employee motivation
Employees should be motivated to get involved and express their honest opinion
  • Integration in the reward/bonus/remuneration systems
  • Active integration/involvement of your employees in corporate processes
  • Different target groups, including outside the company
    • Employees
    • External employees
    • Suppliers
    • Customers

... and how we are meeting them

We primarily use the term "employees" here. The options are of course also available for your suppliers and other target groups, if required.

  • Employees can submit their ideas to a central point of contact
  • Employees are able to communicate their ideas in a context, i.e. with reference to concrete processes. Usually this is done in the context of "their activities/processes", which leads to employees expressing themselves within "their area" (process experts).
  • Employees receive fast, ongoing feedback on the current status of their idea(s), evaluation, current processing status, timeframe
  • As in other disciplines, the strength of ideas management within the D-Philosophy lies in particular in its interaction with other areas.
  • In the context of their own activities and requirements, employees can thus submit their ideas resulting from training/qualification management, compliance management, or document management/document control, for example.
  • This procedure enables concrete, and above all contextualized, ideas to be submitted, and therefore makes it possible to evaluate these ideas quickly, very accurately, and in a structured way

There are of course a lot of other options. Contact us, and we will be happy to present these options and find the right solution for you.

Interdisciplinary procedure with D-Philosophy (interfaces)

  • The main elements of context-related ideas management are the qualification management, compliance management, and document managementareas, because here, the individual activities/processes are broken down and responsibilities are developed and defined. These assignments can then be used as the context for ideas, improvements, and complaints, and help to quickly evaluate the benefit.
